Free tax preparation services are available on certain days during the tax season of January – April of every year to assist persons in completing their federal and state tax returns. This is an IRS-certified site through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program. Appointments can be made by clicking here. This service is done through a partnership with LifeStyles of Maryland, Inc.

Staff are available both in-person and via phone to assist persons in Maryland to apply for public benefits, to include SNAP food stamps, utility assistance and cash assistance. Staff can help with applications, recertifications, fraud claims and interview scheduling. 

We partner with  other agencies to refer clients who may be best served by another organization.  We advocate on behalf of clients who may not be able to effectively state their case for additional support or services. The agency is one of the designated diaper hubs with MD Diaper Bank. The agency can provide diapers, pull-ups and wipes as available. Persons can receive assistance no more than once per month.
